This Tibetan herbal formula is used for diseases of the upper respiratory tract to relieve symptoms of inflammation. It balances all 3 humors - Wind (རླུང་), Tripa (མཁྲིས་པ་) and Beken (བད་ཀན་).
Infectious diseases (གཉན་རིམས་) - antiviral and antibacterial action. Effective for the treatment and prevention of colds and flu (ཆམ་རིམས་), strengthens the immune system and enhances the body's defences. For “old”, “unripe”, “hidden” or “scattered” fevers. In infectious heat, promotes its maturation, and then collects and removes it from the body (སྨིན་སྡུད་གསོད་པ་གསུམ་). Relieves inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, reduces swelling of the mucous membranes, promotes better sputum discharge. Used for sore throat, runny nose, bronchitis, bronchial asthma. Helps in a situation where “heat” (ཚ་བ་) comes into conflict with “cold”(གྲང་བ་), suppressing and pacifying both opponents.
Blood (ཁྲག་) and Wind (རླུང་) - reveals hidden disorders, cleanses the blood and improves blood composition. Helps to remove waste and toxins from the body (waste from microbial infections, metabolic disorders). Can be useful adjuvant for toxic goiter and thyrotoxicosis. Skin disorders due to blood (ཁྲག་) imbalance. Also helps to joint inflammations. Helps with diseases related to the lymphatic system (ཆུ་སེར་). Promotes healthy, optimal immune and inflammatory responses to common allergens including pets, dust mites, mould and pollen. While cleansing the blood, it also cleanses the skin. Used for eczema, psoriasis and acne. Also eases headaches due to PMS and high blood pressure.
